About BigBearTechWorld
Hello! I’m the creator behind BigBearTechWorld, and a proud member of the BigBearFamily. My journey is all about curiosity, creativity, and teamwork. Whether it's building custom tech or taking on new challenges, my family is at the heart of everything I do.
Why everything is named BigBear
The “BigBear” in our name is a special family tradition that started with my mom’s lifelong love for bears. Because of her, we started naming almost everything after BigBear, and now it’s a part of everything we do, from our tech projects to our YouTube channel and even our smart home.
Milestones and training
I became the youngest IICRC Certified Master Textile Cleaner at 14. My passion for martial arts began at age 6, training in Wado Ryu karate under Sensei Mike Vanatta in White House, TN, and I earned my Black Belt at 10 years old. Martial arts have taught me discipline, focus, and perseverance, qualities I bring into every aspect of my life.
Staying active is a huge part of who I am! I train in calisthenics, yoga, Pilates, kickboxing, and strength training. Exploring different fitness disciplines keeps me energized, balanced, and ready for anything.
Stewie and Sheldon
Our family wouldn't be complete without our two doodles, Stewie and Sheldon. They bring so much joy, laughter, and energy to our home, always ready for a walk, a cuddle, or even to test a new app notification with their barks!
Why I build apps
Tech is my biggest passion. I started building apps to help the BigBearFamily with everyday needs. My dad is the idea guy, always brainstorming new features, and both my mom and dad are my most dedicated testers. Every app is made for real, daily use in our family, and then released to the public, so you know it’s been genuinely tried, tested, and loved.
I also manage our family’s smart home (over 500 connected devices!) as well as our servers, making sure everything is updated and running smoothly, fixing bugs, and rolling out new features to keep life efficient and fun.
BigBearTechWorld on YouTube
I love sharing knowledge and helping people, so I create tutorials and tech advice on my YouTube channel, BigBearTechWorld. My mission is to make technology accessible, useful, and fun for everyone, just like I do for the BigBearFamily.
